Application

The VTM-01 Vibration Test Machine is designed to perform vibration tests on fully loaded transport packages or unit loads using sinusoidal excitation at a specific frequency. This testing method evaluates how well packages and unit loads protect their contents against low-frequency vibrations. It can be conducted as a standalone test to examine the effects of low-frequency vibrations or as part of a series of assessments aimed at determining the resilience of a package or unit load to vibrations and repetitive shocks encountered in distribution systems.

Principle

During testing, the specimen is placed on a vibration table and exposed to vibration generated by an approximately sinusoidal excitation at a low, fixed frequency. Key factors such as atmospheric conditions, test duration, peak acceleration, specimen orientation, and restraint methods are established in advance.
