Application

A softgel capsule is a specialized capsule used for oral medications with a gelatin shell containing a liquid filler. It is commonly used for vitamins, minerals and other medications. The active ingredients are safely encapsulated within the capsule, protecting them from the environment. When a consumer takes a capsule, the drug ingredients are released by crushing, dissolving, and melting, depending on the strength of the capsule wall.
