The TST-V Vertical Tensile Tester is designed for constant-rate-of-elongation testing, enabling the assessment of tensile strength, maximum force stretch, tensile energy absorption, and tensile stiffness for materials such as paper, paperboard, tissue paper, and related products. It also facilitates the calculation of the tensile index and the tensile energy absorption index.

 

Test Principle

A specimen of specified dimensions is subjected to tensile stress until it breaks, with the TST-V Vertical Tensile Tester recording the tensile force relative to the specimen's elongation. The data collected allows for the computation of tensile strength, the corresponding stretch at peak force, and the tensile energy absorption.

This device operates under PLC control, providing industrial-level stability, and is managed via a user-friendly HMI touch screen. A precision ball lead screw mechanism guarantees consistent and accurate control over speed and displacement. The system includes tailored programming specifically for paper testing.
